Covered Carport This 20' x 10' Timber-framed extension was built to serve as a covered outdoor play, laundry- hanging and storage area for the needs of a young family.  The main kitchen window overlooks this south-facing area, so it was essential that both the construction and materials allowed easy light transmission. In order to make it a practical investment it was desinged to be easly converted into a carport or garage should the family need it, or sell the house. The construction was of Osmose treated redwood clad in heavy- duty corrugated clear PVC, with channelled PVC end-panels.
