Patio Deck The sitting room and kitchen in this house formed an L-shape around a sunny area of the patio.  The client wanted the house to run seamlessly into the deck, so the deck was built up to DPC level with a 5" step down to the patio. The near edge of the patio has a raised wall runing at an angle of 13 degrees to the house; for this reason we cut the corner of the deck and added patio slabs to enhance the existing lines of the garden.
