Oak Bay Window-Seat
This 9'
wide 7-sided bay was added in a kitchen extension, to be used as a
breakfast area.
The solution in this case involved screening of the radiator pipes and
building a 7-sided seat in solid oak (a perfect semi-tetradecagon for those of
you who remember your geometry!), adding a seat-back to bridge the gap
beween the windowsill, and fitting a matching 14-side dining table.
The contemporary styling matched the new oak fitted kitchen, the
structure was finished with several coats of wax and polishing.
