Courtyard Deck The rear of this house had a 7-step drop to graden level, with a built-in brick aviary about 15' from the house.  The existing brick steps were steep and had no handrail. Our solution was to bring the top deck level up to ground floor level running the full width of the house, going down three steps to a mezzanine level with integral bench by the aviary.
